I'm standing for election on September 13 because I want to work everyday all the time for my community.  A member of the Assembly is called to do that by authoring bills and getting the legislation passed by working with your colleagues in the Assembly and Senate.  An Assembly member is also tasked with being an advocate for their district, ensuring that your constituents and the community organizations in your community are able to thrive.  I'm running to perform these duties well, as we have seen the incumbent shirk the responsibilities of the office and we need a legislator and advocate we can trust.​

If sent to Albany, I will advocate for the needs of our community and focus on legislation that helps to ensure our neighbors have easy access to job training programs to stem the tide of unemployment.  I will also utilize my background in education to write bills that ensure both our teachers and students are protected and able to teach and learn.   I am a reformer, inspired to fight the corruption that has plagued our state legislature, and I promise I will tackle these issues to the best of my abilities.  I feel I am the best candidate in this race to hit the ground running and make us proud and I hope you agree.
